After the 357 mile journey over Shap and Beattock to Troon Yacht Haven on an ultra-low extending trailer, the trailer neck was detached to enable the boatyard's 50 ton travel hoist to straddle the 4.3m overall height of Proteus and lift her catamaran hulls clear of the 19mm high-tensile steel plates that carried her from Grimsby.
